The Prophet

Alone, he was…

Befriended by night, ruled by the sun…

Red tears, black tears…

Anger… Resentment…

Broken from above…

Forced to bear, obliged to accept…

Alone he was…

No other than The Light…

Sparks of fire, tongues of thunder!

Burning, warning, destroying!

Forced to bear, obliged to accept…

Alone, he went…

Road of the dead, walk of the door…

Inviting… Waiting…

P… Pain…

Dripping away…

Falling away…

Opened, were his lips…

Twisted were their ears…

“Hear, but do not listen!”

“See, but do not look!”

Blood and spit…

Sweat and bones…

Left with nothing, attacked by all things…

Empty, empty, dusty…

Lifted…

Nodded…

Again, He said…

Yes, he answered…

Go, He ordered…

I will, he’s ready…

Anything he said is nothing…

Nothing, nothing but the truth…

Never ending, never starting…

No trembling, grace only…

From the very first cry…

To the very last word…

“Yes…”
